The raw materials used for terminals in actual production usually include two types, namely brass and beryllium bronze, which have significant differences in material properties and characteristics. From the perspective of conductivity between the two, in general, brass has much better conductivity than beryllium bronze. Compared with beryllium bronze, beryllium bronze has more advantages in elasticity because there are structural differences between plug terminals and socket terminals. Therefore, brass material is more suitable for the production of connector plug terminals with a current of less than 50A, and it can effectively ensure conductivity. And socket terminals are generally socket terminals, also known as female terminals, which generally consist of two parts in the composition structure. One is an elastic spring part, and the other is a brass machine+terminal wrapped around the elastic spring. This can ensure the elastic foundation of the socket and also ensure good conductivity of the terminal. Usually, when the connector plug and socket are plugged in, attention should be paid to maintaining good foundation between the pin terminals and the socket terminals. It is necessary to ensure the stability of the pin terminals and socket terminals under the bumpy state of the car, and meet the vibration and impact requirements of the connector. In order to achieve this requirement, the elastic spring parts need to be heat-treated to improve the elasticity of the spring and reduce elastic fatigue.
